Skye has just returned from 8 nights in Phuket and 4 nights in Kuala Lumpur with her beautiful 8 month old Daughter, Olivia. 
Skye was chosen as the lucky Travel with Tots reader reviewer to test out the nifty little ‘Travel Chair’ by Snazzy Baby. Here is Skye’s review: From the moment I took my new Snazzy Baby Travel Chair out of the box I was impressed with it. By the end of my two week overseas holiday with it, I love it! My immediate thought when I took it out of the box was wow, this is so small and light. I quickly worked out that I could wear the folded chair around my waist and it was no more obtrusive than a regular bumbag, and I could even squeeze into the pouch a spoon, bib and small bottle of baby food, leaving me hands free to carry the baby! My daughter was 8 months old when we left for a holiday in Thailand and Malaysia. Before receiving the Snazzy Baby Travel Chair my plan, if there were ever no high chairs available, was to just feed her in her pram. What I hadn’t counted on was that my really good eater who never wasted a drop, would not eat so much in a tropical climate, and in the process become a much messier eater as she protested being fed. With just a wipe of a baby wipe, the Snazzy Baby Travel Chair was clean. I never would have gotten the stroller clean ever again! I also had confidence in the chair to keep her safe and secure even as my daughter squirmed and struggled. The Snazzy Baby Travel Chair was so easy to use, I was able to set my daughter up by myself. Just one quick snap around the back of a chair, then four easy buckles around the baby. When I first pulled it out of it’s pouch, I was worried I would never get it to fit back in. But that was as simple as just rolling it up, a toddler could do it! Then, because it was so small, it took next to no space in the nappy bag, or the bottom of the stroller, or just hung off the side for quick access. By the end of our two weeks away, whether we were in a market or a busy modern shopping mall food court, we would use our Snazzy Baby Travel Chair out of sheer laziness of finding a spare high chair, this was just way too convenient! Fellow patrons and the wait staff were all curious and impressed at the ease of which it was to set up. The Snazzy Baby Travel chair will now have a permanent home in my nappy bag, ready to be used at any given moment. Whether you are going on holiday or not, I can highly recommend the Snazzy Baby Travel Chair as a worthwhile investment, I can see us using this chair for a long time to come.

i-Mat, The Talking Play Mat Wins With Mason
As soon as I opened the door Mason came running to see “What’s this” as he yelled and pointed excitedly. For a little man who doesn’t talk much he certainly made that clear! He was captivated before we even unpacked the box, and we are talking about a little fella who’s attention is hard to grab!
So once he popped on some pants we unpacked the box from Snazzy Baby and set about putting the i-Mat together, pre-loaded with a recorded message on the pen from Aunty Lou. His little eyes lit up as if to say, WOW How Cool!
Within about 2 minutes Mason completely had the hang of the iMat. Touch the pen on this and it says a word, touch this one to turn it on and off, and this one makes it louder. (He likes it loud). So luckily there’s a headphone jack in the pen so Mummy doesn’t have to listen to the sound of the Moo Cow all day long! The only tricky bit we found was trying not to press the Voice Record button constantly…his boisterous grip is a bit rough. But being such a big solid easy grip pen makes it great to control and touch the right spots on the mat.
But I was blown away by how stimulating it was, how quickly he picked it up, and how well it actually held his attention. So we all sat and played for a while. Even Nanny and Pa got in on the action for a bit of a giggle. “Ooooh how do they say Kangaroo in Spanish?” And asking lots of questions, like how much does it cost, can you get more mats to extend it and many ooohs and ahhhs. I think I could see Christmas Shopping ticking through their minds already! Turned out to also be a good spot to sit for a snack and then lay under for a quick nap. Boys huh!
Needless to say Mason was pretty rapt in the iMat, I was very impressed with it, and Nanny & Pa were certainly very entertained and commenting on all the educational benefits their grandies could get out of it. We might need to stock up on some more pens though!
It’s little surprise that the iMAT has won numerous awards overseas and here in Australia. I know Mother & Baby Magazine wouldn’t take their awards lightly. The i-Mat is educational, introducing kids to new words in verbal and written form and also working on those fine motor skills and learning universal controls such as on/off, volume and record. But our number 1 rule here is that it has to be fun, and I can’t tell you the last time I had so much fun with a kids toy. I can’t wait to see what mats they bring out next so we can add to the collection.

I was so excited when I was contacted about doing a review for them. Snazzy Baby was wonderful and sent us a “My Baby’s Deluxe Travel Chair” in navy blue to review. When Monkey was little I had bought one of the My Little Seat tie on infant seats for bringing with us when we go out. The one major complaint that I had with it was that you had to use a chair that was about the size of a folding chair. How many people have chairs at their table the size of a folding chair?? Almost no one. Since it didn’t fit right on many chairs I had to watch him super closely because there was a time or two that the chair slipped off of the back of the chair and he almost went tumbling to the floor. Not good!
The Deluxe Travel Chair is a multi-purpose travel seat that works in almost any circumstance whether it be at home, a friends house, or a restaurant. You can use it on a cart, chair, high chair, or even strap it onto yourself and have your kiddo sit on your lap. You can even use it when you are flying on an airplane (only when you are in the cruising portion of the flight) so that you can keep your child secure and strapped to you.
One of the most frustrating things when you go to certain restaurants is the fact that a lot of them don’t have high chairs or anywhere for little ones to sit when they aren’t old enough to use a chair on their own. This chair makes it to where you always have a safe and secure place for your little one to sit anywhere you go. One of my favourite features is that it has a non-slip bottom so that your little one won’t slide down when they are sitting in the seat. Monkey gets so frustrated when he is trying to sit up like a big boy in a chair and keeps sliding down. When using the Deluxe Travel Chair you never have to worry about your child sliding down in their seat.
Monkey looks and feels so safe and secure in his travel seat and it is wonderful knowing that it is buckled onto the chair so he has no way of falling off and getting hurt. I love the fact that it has 4 high quality snaps keeping him in and it goes over his shoulders so that he can’t stand up and fall out.
One last wonderful thing about the chair is that it is machine washable so that you can easily get all of that spilled food off of it. So many kids products that are made these days aren’t washable which seams so silly to me! With the Deluxe Travel Chair you just throw it into the wash and hang it on the clothes line to dry and you will have a nice clean chair to use over and over again.
If you or anyone that you know is in need of something easy to use, compact, safe, and good quality to carry around with you in the diaper bag to use as a seat for your kiddo make sure that you check out Snazzy Baby. I would definitely recommend this chair to anyone that is looking.
